About
We have developed a platform, with web and mobile interface, that allows pharmaceutical companies, medical representatives and doctors to effectively communicate and interact. The platform encompasses a professional social network, educational platform providing continued professional development courses, audio and video conferencing, video and text library, job openings section.

There were numerous design iterations. The most interesting part was to design the complex business logic and integrate it with the user interface.

The platform took 2,5 years to develop, including idle time. The platform is available for users at MedReach.com.


The task at hand
We were tasked with the development of the web app, iOS and Android mobile apps.
What we did
  1. Clarified and discussed with the client their vision of the product and desired funcitnlaity. Based on that, we compiled a list of the functionality and provided preliminary development cost estimation.
  2. Held workshop with the client to cristalize the user roles and structur their needs and goals. This enabled us to propose the functionality that would deliver maximum value to the end users. 
  3. Designed interactive mockups and entire visual architecture of the product.
  4. Created Aceptance Criteria - a lsit of conditions that the software product had to meet to be accepted by our client.
  5. Wrote up the product documentation describing what product we were building; drew up the Impact Maps to show assumptions and the connection between business goals, impacts on users, and team deliverable; filled out Lean UX Canvas wich helped us formulate hypothesis through structhuring desired business outcomes, user personas and their benefits; put the Release Plan together enlisting the features planned for release.
  6. Implemented agile project management by creating and prioritizing product backlog, planning itirations, holding team retrospectives at the end of every itiartion and project phase. We also managed the development team.
  7. Throughout the development process, our team ensured effective and timly communication with the client, incorporating their fedback after every itiration.
  8. We developt the draft UX/UI design of the platform, recieved clients approval, and were iteratively imporving it in conjunction with the client. 
  9. We carried out new features analysis and design after the platform was released.


MedShare 
MedShare is one of the many functionalities available on the platform. This functionality enables doctors to exchange their experience. The MVP of MedShare has been released, which enables users to create and share articles.

The client has requested to expand the functionality, add gamification and creation of groups based on users’ interests. Also, the current design will be reworked.
